Alcohol and Drug Prevention Policy

Prohibition of alcohol and drug use: We strictly prohibit the use of alcohol and drugs in the workplace during working hours, including breaks and lunch periods. Alcohol or drug intoxication on Company premises is strictly prohibited.

Care for employee safety and health: We care about the safety and health of all our employees and therefore take responsibility for creating a working environment free from the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Disciplinary measures: In the event of a breach of this Policy, appropriate disciplinary measures shall be applied, including warnings, suspension from work or, in serious cases, termination of employment. We require strict compliance with this Policy and believe that it ensures the safety and effectiveness of our working environment.

Duty to report violations: All employees are required to immediately report to management any suspicion or fact of alcohol or drug use by colleagues in the workplace. We encourage cooperation and mutual support in maintaining a safe and responsible working environment.

Alcohol and drug testing: Asia Trans KZ has the right to conduct random or reasonable-cause alcohol testing of employees, as well as drug testing, to ensure safety and compliance with this Policy.

Responsibilities of contracting organisations: All contracting organisations working on Company premises are required to comply with the prohibition on alcohol and drug use while performing work. Such organisations must also provide evidence that they have an internal alcohol and drug policy and appropriate measures in place.

Employee support and treatment: We value our employees and are prepared to support those facing alcohol or drug dependency issues. The Company provides access to medical assistance and treatment programmes for those requiring help and ensures confidentiality when assistance is requested.

The person responsible for implementation of this Policy is the person responsible for the TZ function.

Review and update: This Policy is reviewed regularly and updated as necessary, taking into account changes in legislation and the Company’s needs.
